By mid-2023, a major anime studio, NeoWave Studios, signed the duo for an anime adaptation. They brought in a talented team:

  • Kenji Nakamura – Head Writer & Original Creator
  • Ayaka Mori – Art Director
  • Takashi Ito – Animation Lead (known for Blaze Fighters)
  • Rina Kubo – Music Composer (famous for futuristic synth tracks)

The anime premiered in April 2024, and by the end of the first season, it had broken streaming records on Crunchyroll and Netflix Japan.
