Kenji and Ayaka launched Soda Pop K as a webcomic in early 2022 on a small platform called MangaDream. The story centered around a rebellious demon hunter named K, who used carbonated soda as his weapon. The world was under attack by ancient demons, and only those who harnessed “Fizz Energy” could stand a chance.

The quirky idea went viral. Readers loved the humor mixed with high-stakes battles. Within six months, the webcomic had 1 million readers, and big publishers came knocking.
